Marko Perković Thompson’s concert at the Zagreb Hippodrome sold 281,774 tickets, officially making it the biggest concert in history in terms of ticket sales.

This incredible global achievement becomes even more fascinating when we consider that the concert sold out in less than 24 hours, with nearly half of all tickets sold in under 6 hours.

The biggest ticketed concert in history!

The previous record for the largest ticketed concert was held by Italian musician Vasco Rossi, who sold 225,173 tickets for his 2017 show in Modena’s Enzo Ferrari Park.

Thompson surpassed that record by selling an astonishing 25 percent more tickets!

Tickets went on sale on Friday, March 28 at noon, and the demand never slowed down. The Entrio engineering team worked almost 30 hours non-stop. During an unprecedented surge of fans rushing to buy tickets, the team worked on optimizing server infrastructure, resolving numerous technical challenges, maximizing sales, fending off three major cyberattacks, and ensuring that hundreds of other events across three markets continued to run smoothly. Naturally, this scale of demand caused occasional access issues and queues at physical outlets, which was to be expected.

Sales pressure continued throughout the night, with hundreds of tickets sold every minute. Even at the quietest moment—around 4:30 AM—there were still more than 20,000 people waiting in the virtual queue.

At the same time, Entrio’s customer support team handled thousands of inquiries across various channels and continues to diligently respond to ensure every customer question is resolved as quickly as possible.
